I honestly can't remember what we did Friday night (I'm pretty sure it was nothing). We started Saturday morning with two basketball games.
The boys went 1-1 and played as well as they have all year. It's been fun to watch them get better this season.
I enjoy basketball more than I thought I would, but I'm ready to wrap up the season and get onto baseball.
Miles had Marmee, Granny, & Pa at his games. He is lucky kid to have his grandparents so close.
We let them know about the games on Friday night because we weren't sure if the games would be played due to weather, and they showed up bright and early to watch him.
Lots of love for all three of them.
We went to Kroger after the games because Walmart had no pick up times available all weekend. I thought it would be nice to pick out our produce and check out the fresh seafood. Miles kept asking for items to go find and then coming back to find us. We've never let him wander much, but now that he's getting older, he's enjoying some "bigger" things.
We got two pounds of fresh shrimp and steamed it. After years of trying to perfect cooking shrimp at home, we figured it out. We steamed it in a steamer basket. Everyone loved it. Miles is our resident foodie.
We had a lot of couch time. Carson found his favorite spot.
We also played all sorts of games. Carson is a master at Memory. It's actually incredible. When I was losing and shaking my head about how good he was, he was saying things like, "It's okay if we don't win" and "We don't cry when we don't win".
Darrin, Miles, and I went on a cool, short walk this afternoon while Miles was at a birthday party. It was good to get out and get some fresh air.
Carson is a happier person when he gets a few minutes outside everyday.
This was the most exciting thing from our weekend....#1 seed B-A-B-Y!!! Go Titans!
