Weekend Wrap Up

It's catch up time for the weekend and beyond...

Sometimes I just have to snuggle. It's like my recharging zone.

I was out of town for his first middle school game, so Darrin sent me a pic.

It was hard to miss it, but I had a work trip that had to happen. I watched game changer and cheered from my hotel room while eating some Outback, compliments of Door Dash.

The boys won their first game of the season!

We have a serious putting competition at work every Friday....or whenever we need a break.

Carson has been on a major painting kick. I usually say no, because I don't like the clean up. I finally said yes as long as he cleaned it up. He did a great job! He cleaned all the brushed and cups and wiped the counter with a Clorox wipe. Lately we've been expecting more of him and he's been stepping up to the challenge!

Carson is gearing up for baseball season. Darrin is his coach this year. This is the first time that Darrin has been able to coach either of the boys (possible because of his job change). We had to buy Carson some new cleats because he said his from last year were too small. He went from a 2.5 to a 4.5 in one year. His feet are HUGE!

Miles played baseball in the town where we lived when Miles was little. Darrin took Carson to see the ducks where Miles went so many times. Very nostalgic for us.

Carson had his first practice and Miles gladly helped. I'm so regretful that I didn't get a picture of Darrin coaching his first practice, but I'll get one at the first game. It was the most organized 6U practice I've seen in a long time :)

A friend from work and I graduated from a local leadership program. It was a great experience.

Carson had crazy sock day and he was ready for it!

He sure loves his teacher, Ms. Penney. It's been a great year and we could not have asked for anything more.

Miles had baseball the last two weekends. I'll end with a photo dump of our favorite times as the baseball fields.
