Lately

Carson has his first basketball practice tonight and he's hyped. I rounded up all the basketball-ish attire and accessories and he suited up. I asked Miles about the wrist bands and he kind of shook his head no, but then said, "just let him be him" and so we did.

Miles doesn't have friends over much because he stays so busy, but we love all his friends so much. Tyler has been his best friend since kindergarten. 

Carson had a birthday party for Jesus at church. He was so happy that he learned to blow a bubble. It was the first thing he told me when I picked him up.

Carson spent the night with his friend, Max. 

Max's mom said she could hear them saying their prayers together before they went to sleep :)

Carson went to a birthday party at an indoor pool. He had to do a swim test with the lifeguard before he could get in. I was a little concerned since he hadn't swam in a while. He literally dove in and glided down the pool with an overhand stroke in record time. It shocked me. He was very casual about it, but I know he was trying hard to impress the lifeguard and make sure he didn't have to wear a life jacket. 

Lots of games lately since it's getting dark so early. SkyJo and UNO are the games of choice right now.
