Carson-isms

Carson has his own language and expressions. He mixes up words and phrases but when we try to correct him or help him learn he just says, "that's how I say it". It doesn't phase him a bit to know he said something wrong. I've been keeping up with some of his sayings because these are precisely the things I want to blog about.

My favorite thing he still pronounce wrong is ambulance. He says am-blee-ance. Every time.

Instead of chill out, he told Darrin to chill down.

The other day he was referencing a chiropractor and he said "the instructor that pops your back".

He said he wants to do his homework in his room because he doesn't want any contractions (distractions).

He walked in the kitchen one day and one of the candle wicks had gone out because it melted into the wax...he said the candle isn't candling.

After coming in our room because he was scared by the storms he said, "I was jiggling when I came in your room" (instead of shaking).

In the summer, his hair gets really blonde. He says he doesn't like it when it's fully tanned.

"First of off, I'm ready for our pool to be open."

And my favorite which isn't funny, but perfectly Carson. I picked him up from school one day. When I asked how his day was, he said it was GREAT! I asked what made it so great and he said plainly, "Everyday is a great day." That sums up Carson...our sour patch kid. Sweet 95% of the time, but has sour side that comes out mostly when he's exhausted. He decorated our chalkboard the other day with this...

Carson Lynn is his own person and we love his joyful, spunky, fun loving personality.
