Yesterday started out good.
Carson is home all week after a stomach virus outbreak at school. Thankfully he has escaped it, but 30+ friends, teachers, and parents weren't as fortunate. He stayed home with Darrin yesterday and today. Granny & Pa are coming tomorrow and staying until midday on Friday. It's been a while and we are excited to see them! We weren't sure if the daycare would be open at all and we really wanted to stay away from the germs anyway, so we made plans for the whole week.
Since my surgery, which meant that Carson couldn't get in bed with us at night, the boys have been sleeping together. It's been so nice because Darrin (Carson only wants Darrin 95% of the time) doesn't have to lay down with Carson anymore. Well...Miles decided last night that he wanted his bed to himself again. We told him he sprung it on us too late last night and we didn't have time to prepare Carson, but that we would start it tonight. Carson seemed agreeable all day, but I never dreamed how easily he would go to bed. Both boys climbed in their own beds at 8:45pm and we never heard a peep. We are really hoping that this is a new day around here concerning bedtime.
After a long break because of Christmas, quarantine, and Covid, we are so excited to watch #10 and his teammates back in action this Thursday.
That's pretty much our week combined with work, working out, and the usual errands. Tomorrow is hump day and soon it will be the weekend!
