Christmas - Part II

We celebrated Christmas with Darrin's mom's side of the family.  It was at Darrin's parent's house & there are always a ton of people including lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and kids.  Miles was all decked out...

He read books with Amanda...

We ate...

Hung out with cousins...

Miles took some pictures...

They turned out great....

We got to meet Olivia & Ava's new pig, Pearl.  Miles loved her.  He said that he wanted a pig too.  Not happening. Santa did not hear that request.

Then, it was time for the long awaited present opening...

Miles' new castle from Aunt Crystal, Uncle Steve, Olivia, and Ava...

Lots of game playing too.  It was awesome.  Today's selections were Boxes & Briefs, The Game of Things, Hoopla, and the card game Golf.  Good times...

We got home around 6:30pm to spend some time getting ready for Santa.  We have never been home on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning, so we have been really excited.  We want Miles to have great memories of Christmas morning in our house.  He opened a gift from Miss Stephanie.  Can't go wrong with Captain America...

We started a new Christmas Eve tradition that I found on Pinterest.  It's a box filled with things for Christmas Eve, such as new pjs, a Christmas movie, popcorn, reindeer food, cookie mix for Santa, and one gift, which was a head lamp this year.  I thought he would like to take it to bed, but he was a little underwhelmed by it.  Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

We put out the reindeer food....oats & glitter...

Darrin & I got new pjs too....

We made the cookies for Santa...

For the record, Miles put the green sprinkles on, and Darrin iced the red ones.  And no, I did not mix that up.  True story.

So, the cookies and milk are out, along with a note that says, "Dear Santa, I hope you enjoy the cookies."

Now, we just have to wait for Santa...

Merry Christmas Eve!
