We took Miles to the Union City Air Show today with Darrin's parents. It's one of those things that you aren't sure if he'll like it or not, but we thought we'd give it a try. He was very interested/excited for about an hour and then he was over it. When he was into though, he really loved it. He was amazed by the skydivers.
They had several random things for kids to do, pony rides being one of them. Since Miles has been saying for weeks now that he wanted to ride a horse, we thought we'd give him that opportunity. I thought he would be scared but he wasn't at all. It probably helped that his daddy was beside him the whole time.
He liked checking out the planes...
And ran from one to the other...
Just to prove I was there...
It was actually kind of hot & he was thirsty.
While drinking some of his Granny's water, he spilled some on her leg. He walked over to me and asked for a napkin. I told him I didn't have one. He unzipped his diaper bag and said "wipe"? After figuring out that he wanted to dry Granny's pants, we got Darrin's dad's handkerchief. He tried and tried.
It was a busy weekend for Miles with Thomas the Train and the air show. Busy, but fun.
