Our last day of vacation was great. Miles felt good. We woke him up from his morning and afternoon nap b/c we didn't want him to sleep his vacation away.
He just woke up from his afternoon nap here...
It didn't take him long to get excited about swimming. This was by far his favorite thing to do on vacation. He loved to walk around this ledge in the big pool. It was just the right height for him.
Due to the new teeth, he had his fingers in his mouth in over half the pictures.
He also loved to stand on the ledge....
Walk off the edge...
Go all the way under the water....
.....and come up to Daddy. He did this over and over again.
We got to spend some time on Saturday with some friends of Darrin's, that he hasn't seen in years, Ronnie & Ginger. Since Darrin & I got married I have heard countless stories about them. It was so nice to finally meet them, and for them to meet Miles.
Our first family vacation was great. It was drastically different than many of the relaxing vacations that Darrin & I went on before Miles. It was strange to be at a resort with a million kids. But.....we wouldn't want it any other way. Miles makes us so happy. We thoroughly enjoyed having so much time to spend with him, and to devote to him during vacation.
