Weekend Wrap Up

Miles kicked off the weekend with a dodgeball birthday party that turned into a basketball game. The last couple parties he has been to have basically been an open gym for the boys and there is nothing better in their minds.

Miles played in a one day baseball tournament on Saturday and it was COLD. I can only remember one other time that baseball was this cold.

Miles actually said that it was the coldest he's ever been playing baseball. He never wears long sleeves under his jersey because it bothers him. For him to wear this is saying something.

This picture of one of his coaches tells the story.

He's another example of the cold. Carson stayed with Marmee in her nice, warm house for the first two games and then they came to the later game when it was only slightly warmer. We were so thankful. Since I didn't have to chase after Carson or take him to the bathroom or concession stand, I was able to stay in my sleeping bag for most of the day.

It was a good day of baseball in spite of the cold.

The boys came up just a little short in the semi-final game. I'm looking so forward to hot baseball weekends coming soon.

Today was church and then all the things around the house. We washed cars, cooked, cleaned out the garage, did a gazillion loads of laundry, and I worked out.

These weekends fly by. I'm already looking forward to next weekend and more baseball! Living for the weekends around here :)
