Not much going on these days. We're busy as always but there just doesn't seem to be much to blog about. So, I'll share a few random thoughts and call it a night....b/c it's late and I'm tired.
1) We leave for vacation on Friday. Darrin is recruiting in Orlando, so Miles and I are tagging along. We are going to swim at the pool while he's working. Hopefully he'll have some time at night to hang out. He recruits in Orlando this time every year so we wanted to try this once and see how it went. If it is fun, we may repeat in the future.
2) Darrin's assistant coach, Kristi, resigned today. She and her fiance, Trevor, are moving to Orlando. We are sad, and will miss them very much. She's a faithful blog reader (stalker - jk Kristi) so....Kristi- we wish you the best & thank you for everything you have done over the last 3 years!
3) We went to Miles' friend, Aiden's birthday party Saturday. It was a swim party. This is the third time Miles has been swimming this year. The first two times he did not like it at all. Thankfully, he loved swimming on Saturday. I think it helped seeing other kids swimming. It makes me a lot less anxious about vacation. Miles seemed to enjoy the food...he ate two and a half enormous hot dogs and a cupcake.
Miles & the birthday boy...
4) Starting to get nervous about the upcoming football season, or lack there of....
5) I've joined a run club. Darrin made fun & asked if we were going to get matching tattoos. We meet Monday and Tuesday nights at 8pm, and Wednesday and Friday morning at 5:30am to walk/run for 30 minutes. I haven't done a thing since Miles was born and it's about time I get into some sort of shape besides round. So far I have really enjoyed it. I like the company, and talking makes the time fly by.
6) Packing for family vacation is ridiculously time consuming.
7) I started another round of homeopathic medicine for Lyme (the vials again) on Friday night. This is the strongest I've taken so far. It kicked in today and I had to leave work early. My head and neck were about to explode. I went to the chiropractor and then home to take a three hour nap. Woke up much better, but am starting to feel yucky again. I take this medicine once a week for the next 10 weeks. The yuckiness should calm down as the weeks go on. At least they better...
I need go to sleep if I stand any chance of making it to the 5:30 run club tomorrow. Good night all.
