Miles and I went to Toddle Time at Lakewood Gymnastics on Saturday morning. It was a rainy morning, so it was the perfect way to spend our time. It didn't take Miles long to warm up. The kids were allowed to go anywhere and play with anything for an hour. My pictures aren't great b/c I was trying to keep up with him most of the time.
This is our neighbor & church friend, Ansley. We asked them to stand together. They look thrilled, don't they? No matter what we do...the zoo, the Children's Museum, Touch a Truck....it's always the same, solemn expression from Miles. At home, he is such a funny, happy, talkative kid. I think he's reserved when we are out in public, and also just likes to take things in. Actually, that pretty well describes me...so I guess he gets it honest.
I don't know why this is in the gym, but he liked it...
We have never played tee ball. I was amazed that he knew exactly what to do with this...
This series of pictures is hilarious to me. Ansley looks like she is telling him like it is...
...and Miles isn't sure how to take it...
Each kid got a stamp & a lollipop at the end. Miles' stamp was on the bottom of his foot. I guess he wanted to show Ansley...
...which lead to this...
