Yet another high chair post. I promise he does other things besides eat. He has become such a good eater. He still loves his milk. We feed him breakfast every morning b/c he can't wait until he gets to daycare to eat. Major meltdown if he doesn't eat. However, that doesn't stop him from eating at daycare. Every day they write down "all, most, or some" beside breakfast and lunch. He always has "all" beside breakfast, and either has "most" or "all" beside lunch.
Yesterday morning he ate nearly 3 scrambled eggs for breakfast at home. When I dropped him off at daycare I told his teacher that he had already eaten a lot and that he might not eat there. I just didn't want her to think something was wrong with him. She commented that he would probably still eat. Sure enough, when I picked him up, it said "all" next to breakfast.
For dinner tonight, he ate bananas, cheese cubes, grilled chicken, peas, yogurt and applesauce. Peas are his new favorite. He picks them up one by one and eats them. I try to feed him several at a time with the spoon, but then the spoon becomes such a distraction that it's not worth it. He was getting a little frustrated b/c he it was such a chore to pick each one up. I finally gave him the bowl to see what would happen.
