Less Words Wednesday

More catch up....with all the pics from April. Darrin and I went on Carson's field trip with him to a farm. I was supposed to go, but something came up with work, so Darrin went. I joined them as soon as I could.

Carson has had the best year with Ms. Rachel. We will miss her so much next year.

This crew has been together since daycare.

Carson had a huge moment. He won an iPad at the arcade. He beat the "cut the string" game. If you don't know what that is, it's similar to the crane game and no one ever wins.

He's been wanting an iPad forever, but we didn't think he would take care of it based on some prior events. When the string cut and the iPad fell, he dropped to his knees in front of the game. It was such a fun moment.

Darrin wasn't into the eclipse, so I took my lunch break and made him sit outside with me. He did finally agree that it was cool.

I never acknowledge spring pictures. I just let whatever happens, happen. This is an accurate depiction of what Carson looks like everyday, especially the backwards necklace.

And then there were more baseball games...

And more hanging out with my friends...

Miles loves nothing more than hanging out with coaches and umpires during games. We had to leave the fields last weekend for a rain delay. One of the umpires stopped by the dug out and told Miles goodbye in case we didn't come back from the rain delay and thanked him for protecting him behind the plate.

These are some fun days for these boys. They have so many memories.

Miles' middle school team finished the regular season 21-2 and won the district!

Their goal was undefeated and district champs. I'd say they got very close to that goal.

These 8th graders were unstoppable. Big days ahead for them.

Miles and four others received All District awards.

Miles was very emotional all night after winning. He said he was so happy. He was very invested in the season and after winning, it all came out.

He loved playing for these two coaches and one other that's not pictured.

Coach Steve even got to coach first base for a little while because one of the coaches couldn't get there at game time. I don't know who loved it more, Coach Steve or the boys. I told Miles that was a little blessing from God to allow that to happen :)

It was a great end to a great season.

We are all having fun watching Carson play now that his wrist is better.

I can now wear Carson's shoes.

I have always wanted landscape lighting, so bought some solar powered lights on Amazon. They aren't super bright and don't come on until 8ish, but for the money, I think they look pretty good.

I really need to stop Ambien shopping.

That's all for April. Hopefully I can blog about May a little at a time.
