Carson will take any opportunity to throw a baseball. He's getting more fun to throw with now that he can catch the ball.
Carson lived his best life with the baseball siblings on Miles' team. They played and hung out with him all weekend.
Growing up....countdown to high school now.
So this happened yesterday. When I came home for lunch I discovered that I had worn two different shoes to work all morning.
Spent my Mother's Day watching Miles play.
Carson asked if he finished all the Dog Man books if he could have a reward. I told him we would take him to a book store to pick out a book. All the books he reads are Miles' old books. We were in Kroger and he spotted the one he wanted, Dune. It's 800+ pages. He says that he's going to read it this summer.
Miles loves going out to eat with his friends on baseball weekends.
We got to see Northern Lights in Tennessee!
Mother's Day watching baseball with my friends. It's always shocking how short I am when I see a picture like this :)
Miles has been riding the 4-wheeler every night. I love it when he does kid stuff.
It was a LONG day at the baseball field on Sunday. I had a head cold (still do) which made things longer, but it was worth it because the boys won a tough game to end as champs! We got home at 11:15pm on Sunday night.
The pool is open! We have a lot of work still to do, but we are ready for a fun summer.
Whiffle ball in the hotel parking lot.
Wonkiest championship pic ever. It was a hard fought day for the boys. Lots of success, frustration, fun, struggle, and 14 year old attitude :)
Carson had a one day tournament on Saturday before he and Darrin drove down to join Miles and me in Mississippi. He won his first championship!
He caught his first pop fly. To make it even sweeter, after catching the pop fly, he stepped on second for the 2nd out, and then threw it to third for a triple play! Miles' team had a triple play once and we still talk about it. Now, we will be talking about the triple play by Top Notch.
Marmee had fun watching Carson win his first tournament.
