Less Words Wednesday

Random thoughts and a few likes. I made poppyseed chicken on Monday because Darrin was out of town and I knew we could eat it for leftovers on Wednesday. Then I left it out overnight and had to throw it all away :( This was disappointing on so many levels!

I finally found a sunless tanner that doesn't smell bad. It's a foam so it's easy to put on too.

Carson has been so tired lately. I keep worrying that he's getting sick, but maybe it's a growth spurt or something.

Miles had his last hitting lesson for a while. Season begins tomorrow with his first scrimmage. About to see his work pay off.

Meanwhile Carson has been hitting a lot of golf balls in the front yard.

Sunday I fixed a couple snacks for Carson early in the day so we didn't have to get up every couple hours to make him something to eat. He always seems to ask right after I sit down.

I watched a friend take notes with different color pens during the sermon. And now I've decided that I'm way more likely to read my bible at night when I have colored pens to write with.

Again, I'll never be a food blogger for obvious reasons, but we've been making our own guac and it's so good. Approximately, 2 avocados half mashed/half chucky, 1/4 cup red onion, 1/4 cup of diced tomato, 1/8 cup of bacon bits, 2-3 tablespoons of lime juice, and as much cilantro and salt as you like. So good.

I wear sunscreen every day. This works, is not greasy, and does not break my face out.

Marmee has been watching a lot of football with us lately. The three of us share this heated blanket. A regular blanket just won't work for me these days.

Carson wears a watch all the time. He knows when he's supposed to wake up, when he can play video games, when we are leaving to go somewhere, and when it's time for bed. He is very diligent with his schedule. I predict a punctual adult.
