Miles and Carson's bus driver was also one of Miles' teachers. She is amazing. We bought her some Goodr sunglasses (our 'go to' teacher gift) and she sent us this picture. I already hope that Carson gets her when he's in 7th grade :)
Last day of school. These boys have grown this year.
I picked them up in car rider and we spent the rest of the day in the pool.
The day started off cloudy, but turned into a pretty day. Carson went and got popsicles for Miles and his friend and even cut the ends off. That's actually a big deal because he usually wants everyone to do everything for him and doesn't always do the same in return.
Tip of the week...instead of throwing away the end pieces of bread, put them towards the inside of a grilled cheese and no one will know the difference!
I sure was happy to be sitting by the pool for the first time of the summer. The water is way too cold for me.
Carson was so happy to go to daycare today. I feel like he's been waiting all school year to go back and see Ms. Tracy.
He said on the way there, "I don't remember how to do it (meaning the schedule) because I've been focusing on kindergarten.". I asked him if he was nervous and he said, "I'm never nervous or shy." Tru dat. He is his daddy's child.
Carson got to celebrate his birthday at school yesterday because they celebrated all the summer birthdays.
Miles had his first hitting lesson since he hurt his hand 9 weeks ago. He broke his bat at the lesson. What would it be like to have a month without sinking some money into baseball equipment??
And more pictures from last weekend. Travel ball all started when Miles met Tyler in kindergarten.
Miles threw a kid out at third from right field. His teammates were so happy for him and his teammate at third who put a great tag on the runner.
