Saturday morning was concession stand duty and basketball.
It's a bummer that Miles isn't playing, but I still enjoy watching his friends play.
After basketball, I was so excited to park it on the couch and watch the TN/GA game and then the World Series. Now that baseball is over, I might be able to get on with my life. There have been so many late nights in October. I already bought and downloaded the new Colleen Hoover book, It Starts With Us. I'm ready to get back to reading and read all winter long.
Everyone enjoyed down time in our own spaces. Miles was in his room playing video games.
Carson watched TV and hung out in the sun room. Darrin watched TV with me, but I guess I didn't get a single picture of him all weekend long. He's been with us all weekend...we still love having him with us since he's not coaching anymore.
It was a much needed day of rest. I know a lot of people aren't a fan of Daylight Savings, but I am. It forces us to come in earlier and there seems to be more time at home....more game nights, puzzles, good food, and TV watching.
I need a slower season to recoup.
We are pushing our way through the Halloween puzzle. It has gotten a little better, but it's still really hard. If you are looking for a challenging puzzle, this is the puzzle for you.
Thanks to an extra hour of sleep, I had time to actually get ready for church without rushing and iron clothes for the boys.
Marmee came for lunch and spent the day with us.
It was a beautiful day to soak up some sunshine and watch the kids play outside.
Carson played with a neighbor friend all day, which is a PERFECT day in his eyes.
Now, everything finished for the weekend and it's time for some Titans football. It has been a great weekend!
