I feel rested from a long weekend at home, but I still don't feel ready to go back to work. I'm just not a fan of Mondays. But....tomorrow is a big day in our house. After 15+ years of coaching, Darrin starts a new job tomorrow. As our kids have gotten older, the thought of pursuing a different career has been on our hearts and minds for several years. We prayed for God's will and timing. He will be working in sales for a company of Memphis (remotely). There's so much to say about this, but I'll keep it brief tonight and hopefully share more in the future. His coaching life has given us uncountable memories and friendships, and so much fun for our family. He walked away at a high point, from a great team, which is good because he ended on a high note, but oh so hard because of the players and what could have been. We trust the Lord in this next step and are excited that it begins tomorrow.

Weekend Wrap Up
This wrap up begins last Thursday when Carson made his catching debut.
He told the coaches that it was his favorite position and asked them to catch all night. He finally got to in the last inning. It's the first time he's played anything but left field and he loved it!
He actually did pretty good for a 5 year old catcher. Usually they just sit there like a statue, but he managed to stop a few balls and throw them back. I hope he gets to do it again because he really liked it.
I have been under the weather for a solid week. So, Darrin took the boys to Miles' tournament in Mississippi and let me stay home and rest. I hated to miss, but the weather looked bad, the schedule wasn't favorable, and it was over 2 hours away. Not a great combination. It was absolutely the right decision because I am feeling better at the moment than I have in over a week. Darrin sent a few random pictures. Carson playing the tablet during games...
Eating at Buffalo Wild Wings.
They had time to kill between games, so they visited a park...
We tried to talk Carson into staying home with me, but he had been looking forward to the hotel all week and there was no way to talk him out of it. It did not disappoint him!
Since I was home, I had time to make their Easter baskets look cute. These airplanes were a big hit with all four of us :) I only got one for Miles because it came in a two pack, but he's had a lot of fun with it.
I didn't intentionally match the boys...it's just all I could find. Thankfully, they don't mind.
Carson is always so excited to see his friend, Max, at church. The feeling is obviously mutual.
We had an intense Easter egg hunt. Carson asked that we hide them in good places, so we did.
We hid 40 eggs throughout the entire house in places like a Kleenex box under the Kleenexes, inside a board game, in a jacket pocket in our closet, etc. It took them over an hour to find all of them. Carson held his own....because everything is a competition. They had a lot of fun.
Marmee stopped by this afternoon and brought some Easter goodies.
While the first born counted the money from the goodies...
The second born ate chocolate. This is such a representation of their personalities.
