8 quick pics from our weekend. Shorts and tall socks is still going strong over here.
We had a preseason meeting for baseball. Miles is front and center, hanging on every word his coach says because that's what he does with Coach Steve. He showed a video of a testimony from a major league player. I'm very thankful for this opening to our season.
Carson and I worked on his Valentine's for his friends. Since I'm prepared in advance, it will probably snow and school will be canceled. They say "Sip sip hooray, Happy Valentine's Day! Hope it's ex-straw fun!" They have a crazy straw and two drink mixes because Carson loves drink mixes!
Our gym is only open from 8-noon on Saturday and closed on Sunday. I don't like to work out on Saturday morning, but it was good to get another work out in. It wasn't a good one, but a bad work out is still better than no work out!
I remembered this game from when Miles was little and told Miles he should make one for Carson. Carson had fun with it. We still have some work to do with his letters.
In keeping with our tradition, we cooked everyone's favorite junk food for the Super Bowl. Darrin- buffalo dip, Miles- chocolate chip cookies, Carson- popcorn, and me- BLT dip. We had a few people over too. My mom picked an ice cream cake which we forgot to get out of the freezer, so we are having it for her birthday soon! One of Darrin's assistant coaches picked queso.
Stephanie brought brownies and all the best flavored Starburst.
We wish it had been a better game, but we were happy that the Bucs won!
That sums up our weekend. We are already looking forward to the next one!
