The weekend started with a volleyball game on Friday night. We played Murray, our closet rival, and won!
Saturday morning, Miles played with his castle for at least an hour straight. 60 consecutive minutes of entertaining himself is absolutely blog worthy...
Then, we had an early game at 11am, due to the football Homecoming game later in the afternoon...
This is Darrin on Saturday...he told the girls that if they won on Friday night, he would wear the same thing on Saturday. Please refer to the picture earlier. When I sat down at the game, I turned to my mom and said, "Is Darrin wearing the same thing he wore last night?" She confirmed. Apparently everyone knew but me. I'm sure he figured I would not be as on board as others. He knows me well.
Unfortunately, the outfit trick didn't work and we lost.
After the game we celebrated my birthday. My mom brought a yummy cake and Miles helped me blow out the candles...
Miles went home with Aunt Crystal & Uncle Steve to spend the night with the girls. Darrin and I celebrated our anniversary by laying on the couch and watching football, eating dinner at Los Portales, and watching Crazy Stupid Love at home. I liked the movie, but it wasn't a perfect anniversary movie. Anyway, we had a fun, relaxing evening.
This morning, we went to Crystal & Steve's church to see Olivia get baptized. She was so excited and it was precious. We are very proud of her & her decision.
It's been a good weekend. The best part about it is....it's not over!!! Happy Columbus Day to all! I can't wait to spend the whole day with Miles. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
