Just a quick wrap up tonight. This blogging on the phone thing is a game changer by the way.
We started a puzzle that Carson got for his birthday. It was the hardest 100 piece puzzle we've ever done, by far. It was fun though and good quality if you are a puzzle person.
Carson spent a lot of time playing with the toys that he got for his birthday.
We did a HUGE grocery pick up and and cut up a bunch of fruit and veggies. Now, we have to eat it before anything goes bad. Can't afford to waste food these days!
Coolest kid around on his way to water day at daycare. He only has 10 days left of daycare. I can't believe it.
Carson was asked to play on a travel baseball team. After some consideration, we said no. It doesn't feel like the right time yet. The team is still letting him practice which is so nice. He was happy to be at practice.
Miles had 3 friends spend the night. They were a great group and I would happily have them anytime.
Miles took an elbow to the mouth during a basketball game in the pool. They were just being boys. His upper lip was a little swollen when he woke up. The bigger problem is that his bottom tooth was re-chipped and he feels like it may have shifted. We'll have to call the dentist tomorrow and see what they say.
We had to recruit the boys to finish the puzzle, so we could get it off the kitchen island. They let Carson put in the last piece.
It was cute!
Granny & Pa came to spend the night on Saturday night. We played Five Crowns and Quixx.
Miles was baptized this morning. He was baptized when he was seven, but at church camp recently, he felt like he fully understood what it means to be saved and follow the Lord. So, he made a new decision and followed in baptism today. It was awesome to have Granny, Pa, and Marmee with us.
His good friend, and baseball teammate, Lane, was also baptized.
Miles is going to the beach with a friend the last week July, so we did a little back to school shopping today. His pant length is a 32 now. Wow!
I also bought him a new pair of sweatpants and decided to put them on for the drive home.
That's all. It's been a busy weekend and I'm tired. I'm not at all ready to go back to work tomorrow, but that's how it goes.
