He woke up to his birthday present from us. He has been asking for this! We bought it on Amazon and we were both impressed by the quality. It was easy to put together and looks nice, especially for the money.
Marmee is under the weather, so we facetimed with her while he opened the presents she got for him. He looks so teenager-ish with his white Crocs.
After daycare, Granny and Pa came down to give him a present. He was very excited about a new fishing pole!
Then, it was time for his party. He chose an indoor jumpy place with an arcade.
He waited patiently for them to arrive. He sat quietly and looked out the window for them to pull up. When they got there, it was game on and the energy level shot through the roof.
This slide was so tall, The kids were flying out at the bottom. Even Miles had fun on it.
Some of his best buddies, Tucker and Charlie. It was hard to get pictures of all the kids because they were running in a hundred directions. I wish I would have gotten a group picture, but it was just too hard.
Carson's teacher crashed the party. The kids attacked her when she walked in.
She is a gem and we are certainly going to miss her. Carson is starting to get really sad about his last day with Ms. Traci before he starts kindergarten.
I don't even know who was under him, but these boys are tough!
After jumping, it was time for the arcade.
The arcade is what the boys were really waiting for. They had unlimited credits and it was fun!
The last stop was the party room for pizza, cupcakes, ice cream, and presents.
I knew they would be hungry because they didn't eat until 6:45pm. They inhaled some pizza.
These two little girls braved the party with around 12 boys. They held their own!
When we were lighting the candles, we told them to stay back, and one of them said, "We know what to do." They all go to daycare together and I have to say, they know how to smile for a picture and how to sing happy birthday. They all started singing with zero prompting.
Happy birthday to Carson! He's six going on sixteen...he thinks he's as big as his brother. He is a daddy's boy through and through. He is independent, yet very needy, especially when he's hungry! He's our left handed, brown eyed, LOUD kid with huge feet :) He is wild and fun, and shows much less inhibition than Miles, but I'm finding that he knows how to dial it back when he needs to. He loves his family and friends big time and expresses it freely. He's growing up and maturing in all the best ways. We can't wait to see what this year holds for him!
