Back with a few more pictures to catch up and then a couple from today.
Before the Christmas break, Miles' youth group had a silent disco. They each had noise canceling head phones with four different channels playing four different songs. Miles said it was the most fun he's ever had ,in his whole life. They sang and danced for a couple hours straight. He said it was so funny because everyone would be dancing and when you took off your head phones, it was quiet.
We made signs for Darrin's tournament back in November. Carson's sign started out saying "Go Dad", but by the end, it was just a bunch of colors. He was proud of it though.
Miles' sign said "That's my Dad" which I thought would make Darrin cry, but he just smiled when he saw it.
They are entertained for hours in the car with word searches, mazes, hidden pictures, etc. These are the best for Carson.
We stopped at a Buc-ee's on the way home from Darrin's tournament. Darrin had been before, but the rest of us had not. We loved it. I could have stayed there for a lot longer. Carson got this Scratch & Sketch book. It entertained him for a long time. I highly recommend. Miles even liked it.
Carson got some tights for Christmas but he's still unsure about them. I told him I wanted to take a picture and he said "wait", then hopped up and flexed for me. He loves wearing shorts, so I thought tights would be a good solution, but sadly, I don't think he'll ever wear them.
I rained a lot over the weekend. Carson was tired of being inside, so we suited him up and sent him out to splash in puddles. All was right in his world again.
Carson went back to daycare today and he was ready! He was so excited to take his new backpack that Miles got at a basketball tournament. He looks so grown. I can't believe he starts kindergarten this year!
Miles got an MLB puzzle for Christmas. We finished it tonight. I think we are going to try to hang it in his room. It was a fun one.
