4 Year Check Up

Carson had his 4 year check up today. As always, he loved going to the doctor. On the way there, I told him he was probably going to have to get some shots. I thought I would test the waters with the honest approach, rather than the sneak attack like we have done with Miles. He was unfazed.

He weighs 40lbs (80th percentile) and is 40" tall (40th percentile). He is very stout, so I wasn't surprised that he is on the higher side of the weight percentile. I think he's going to be very strong as he grows up.

The doctor finished her exam and said everything was great. When she walked out he asked if they were going to get the shots. He almost acted excited about it. She brought two shots in and told him to lay down. He kept his head up and watched her put the first one in, then the second, and never flinched. He's always been tough, but it still amazes me.

We are thankful everyday for our healthy and strong growing boy!
