Weekend Wrap Up

Not part of the weekend, but wrapping up the end of last week...Darrin and Miles had the opportunity to go out with Darrin's cousin's husband and fish off of his boat. They were both excited.

I don't think they had a very successful day of fishing, but they still had so much fun. Will fishes a lot and even fishes in some bass tournaments. He was so nice to Miles, and even gave him some fishing stuff.

To start off the weekend, Carson took presents to daycare for his teachers. It was his last day in the room that he's in. On Monday, he moves up to the next to last room at daycare. How did this happen so quickly??

Carson and Miles worked on their golfing skills in the front yard.

Miles was so helpful and patient with Carson.

Darrin and Miles worked on their fishing poles while we waited for my mom to arrive.

Carson worked on his casting some too.

Then, he spotted Marmee pulling in the driveway!

We haven't seen her since February and that is by far the longest the boys have ever gone without seeing her. She's been staying at home during the quarantine. The boys were so happy to finally see her. She received quite the warm welcome.

Miles has been texting her and we've Facetimed quite a bit, but they were ready to have her at our house.

Carson didn't even let her get inside before he starting investigating the gifts she brought. He was really happy with the "noculars".

They had to show her everything that is new since she was last here. This thing still isn't a big hit, but she wanted to see them play on it so they obliged.

Of course Miles was so proud to show her the garden. It wasn't all that sunny, but at least it didn't rain. We were able to play and catch up outside.

My mom always lets the boys get a handful of change from the coins in her car. Miles didn't want to be too greedy, so he was modest in his attempt.

Carson scooped up the biggest handful he could get which embarrassed Miles. They both had fun feeding the coin in their banks.

Reunited and it feels so good!
