We got together at night, but had breakfast for dinner, which is the best time to have it. The kid table...
Half way through dinner the lights went out. The weather was really nasty, even tornado warnings around us. That's what happens when it's 70 degrees in December. It didn't stop the kids from finding their presents.
They used flashlights, Christmas candles, and cell phones to search under the tree.
Miles was the last to get his stack and I could see the concern all over his face. When his loot was set in front of him, he was all smiles...
These two...
One of Miles' gifts was a robe. He looks like a cross between a little king and a boxer...
Lilly loved her presents. The girl knows how to pose...
Crystal doing some weights with one of Steve's presents...
She might need to work on those muscles...
The lights came back on while we were opening presents. We stayed after presents long enough for the kids to play and for the adults to play some too. Then, the weather was just too bad and we had to leave. We were seeing all over Facebook where roads were closing due to flooding. We passed a couple cars off the road and a little flooding on the way home, but made it home safely. The storm ended about the time we got home. It was a memorable Christmas for sure!
