Carson had first grade awards day and he got the Citizenship Award! He was so happy about it. He kept looking at us in bleachers and showing us his trophy. He has had a great year. He's learned so much especially in reading.
He's had good friends and we love Ms. Rachel. She will be hard to beat.
Josie went to daycare with him and she was chosen for the Citizenship Award for the girls.
Carson is allowed to play his iPad starting at 7am. If we didn't make that rule, he would wake up at 5am and play. He such an early riser! We thought he was asleep this morning until after 8, which is really unusual, but he was playing quietly in his bed when Miles found him.
After church, it was time for Miles and me to meet up with Darrin and Carson to watch Carson play some baseball.
It's always fun to hang out with friends between games.
And have a staring contest...
They played two great games, but lost big time in the championship game. You win some, you lose some!
A highlight for Carson is that he's getting better at catching pop flies.
After baseball, there was time for more baseball at home.
And some swimming. it was way too cold for me, but they got in for a while.
Next up, it's the last week of school!
