There is a story behind each costume. I actually found Carson's at a consignment store a couple months ago for $3. Since Darrin's team mascot is a Bulldog, it was a perfect find. This isn't a great picture, but it shows how happy he is in his little costume.
The butt and tail were adorable.
Miles really wanted to be a werewolf. I procrastinated on buying his costume. Apparently a werewolf was a popular costume the year and I couldn't find one anywhere. I checked four stores and there were no werewolves. He saw a Master Chief costume in Walmart, but it was an XL and we needed a medium. We finally came across a small. I convinced him that it would fit just right. It was tight and borderline too small. He didn't wear the mask at all tonight because he said it hurt. It was kind of funny how tight it was, but he didn't know the difference.
Company-wide we had a pumpkin decorating contest at work. I knew I wouldn't win, but it was still fun to participate.
Carson's little class at daycare. I think the Hulk is the only one that is happy to be there.
We were emojis at work. All I had to do was pick out my emoji and wear black. If you text me at all, you know this was right up my alley. I love some emojis :) I only wish I could use them when I'm blogging!
Tonight, we went trick or treating in a neighborhood with some friends.
These boys are all in the 2nd grade and play baseball together. Miles, Nate, Zach, and Tyler...
This is a good way to trick or treat. Their neighborhood was buzzing with people. The kids rode for a while and then hopped out to trick or treat for several houses and then rode again.
We were trick or treating in the neighborhood where Mason lives. Miles was hoping to run into him. I'm actually surprised that we did because there were so many people. They immediately hugged like they always do. I'm pretty sure that Miles had multiple pieces of candy in his mouth in this picture. When I sorted his candy at the end of the night, I was a little shocked at the amount of empty wrappers.
The ladies rode on the trailer most of the time...
While the dads walked behind.
Two of the older sisters of Miles' friends, who have both babysat for Carson before, stayed behind to watch him. I was worried that he would be difficult since he usually goes to bed so early. They said he was great, but he did go get his bag about 20 minutes before we got back to the house as if he was ready to leave.
He hung in there, but enough is enough. He wasn't asleep in this picture, but very close. I feel like Carson now...time for bed!
